Brooke joined Wakefields Lawyers in 2024, bringing a diligent and proactive approach grounded in a genuine commitment to supporting clients through their legal challenges. She was admitted to the bar after graduating from Victoria University of Wellington with a conjoint Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. With a natural passion for connecting with people, Brooke believes that the best outcomes are achieved through realistic advice and a focus on keeping clients informed and empowered throughout the legal process. Her key areas of interest span family law — including Parenting Orders, Protection Orders, relationship property and separation matters — as well as trusts work covering establishment, administration and wind-ups. She is also experienced in succession planning, such as drafting Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney, and assists with estate matters including probate applications and disputes. In addition, Brooke works across conveyancing transactions involving sales, purchases, transfers and mortgage restructures, and supports clients with a range of dispute and litigation matters. Outside of work, Brooke enjoys creative pursuits such as reading and writing, loves a good themed costume party, and embraces the challenge of a pub quiz — with admittedly mixed results.
