Ben joined Wakefields Lawyers in 2026 and holds a conjoint Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance, from Victoria University of Wellington. He completed his Professional Legal Studies earlier this year.
Based in our Wellington office, Ben works across a broad range of legal matters, with particular interests in corporate and commercial law, insolvency and debt recovery, and property. His background in commerce and finance gives him a practical understanding of how businesses operate, which he brings to his work with clients by providing clear, straightforward advice they can confidently act on.
Outside of work, Ben is a keen tennis player and has coached at clubs across Wellington for more than four years. When he’s not on the court, he can usually be found running along the waterfront or trying his hand at cooking a new cuisine.
